I had a little bit of trouble getting an initial call-back from Max, but once I did it was very clear that he and his crew take their jobs seriously. I contacted them through the form on their website and received a quick reply. Max, the owner, made an appointment to stop by our house to take a look at the work. He stayed for 15 minutes, and I received a written quote via email within the following hour. The quoted price was very reasonable, so we moved ahead with the job. A few days later, I felt like I had the whole MX electric crew working at my house! They sent out 6 workers who were all very professional and coordinated in their jobs. Everyone was very friendly and explained their work in a manner that was easy for me to understand. As is usual on older homes, the team encountered a few surprises (e.g. "home-fixes" by previous owners), but were able to fix everything up to code. Now, everything works great and I am very satisfied with the quality of work. I would highly recommend MX Electric!

I contacted Max back in December about replacing our ceiling fan, he was very friendly and super helpful over the phone, my husband was originally planning to do the job himself, Max gave us advice on how to do it before we hired him.
My husband decided not to do the job himself since he didn't have a ladder tall enough and didn't have time to rent a ladder and replace the fan. Max was out of town when the job was scheduled so his brother Scott came instead. Scott and Jamie did an excellent job installing our ceiling fan in our living room. They got here right on time, took off their shoes when walking through our home, protected our carpet with drop cloths and carried a huge 16 foot ladder through our dining and living room with ease without damaging anything.
They replaced the fan with no problems, all while explaining to our very curious 4 year old daughter what they were doing. The job looked complex since the ceiling is very high ( about 18 feet) and sloped but they made it look easy. The price for the job was very reasonable. We will definitely be hiring MX electric again if we should need any electrical work done. Thank you!

We had two circuit breakers that started tripping randomly. ... We had two other contractors out to trouble shoot the problem. They both spent several hours trying to find the problem but could not. They each said they would be back. But neither came back or even called. They left us with a potential fire hazard with no regard for our safety.
We contacted MX Electric. Max was out the next day. He could not find the problem. He was back the next day and still could not find the problem. The third day he came back with two helpers. He found some wires that were charred back over a foot from a switch. My wife found the back half of a mouse that had apparently been chewing on the wires and shorted them out. If Max had not been so committed to finding the problem we would still be at risk of an electrical fire. I am sure that MX Electric did not charge enough to cover their costs, but, Max was committed to making our home safe.

We were very pleased with the service. Within the first 48 hours of texting, we had an estimate and approximate date of service. Within another 48 hours the work was complete. Max was very good about outlining the process and likely costs and providing me with a maximum cost to scale the work if the job turned out to be more complex than anticipated. The workers were professional and efficient, and answered my questions along the way.

Highly Recommended!
The team did an excellent job with my kitchen remodel. They added in 7 recessed lights and replaced all the original beige devices to new, white ones. The team was open with their communication throughout the whole project. When there were decisions that needed to be made, they were clear on explaining what the options were. After they completed their work, they cleaned up properly. I will definitely go to MX Electric with any future jobs. Highly recommended!
